Thermal properties
Considering the door frame and sealing type, the average heat transmission coefficient to be achieved is 0.75W/m²K. As the steel sheets, covering the panels, are not connected to each other, the options for a cold bridge forming are eliminated. Panel thickness is 39 mm, standard panel height 488 or 610 mm.
Special finger protections have been fitted both inside and outside between the garage door panels. All rubber sealing can take temperature fluctuations within the -30°C … +50°C range.
Corrosion resistance
Corrosion resistance of external surfaces meets class K3 requirements.
Corrosion resistance of internal surfaces meets K2 DIN 55928, Part 8 requirements.
Finish
The external finish consists of two burnt-lacquered layers of polyester base. The thickness of layer for standard colours is 25 micrometers. Standard colour tones are RAL 9002, RAL 8014 and RAL 9006. Internal surfaces of the panels are smooth; external surfaces are treated to imitate stucco.
Deflection
Panels sag to match their weight when door is open. The deformation for the width of 4.5 m is only 1.2 cm.
Sound insulation
Sound insulation coefficient of the door, RW = 25dB.
Dimensions
Maximum width of a private garage door is 5,000 mm. Industrial swing-up door needs to be manufactured for wider doors.
Conformity certificate
All the Kinema swing-up doors have CE-marking and meet the requirements, specified in the European Union safety standard, EN 13241-1:2003.
