What are bollards?

Bollards are distance-operated automatic devices, featuring a metal cylinder, which is highly reliable to crashes and collisions with means of transport and completely weather resistant.

Barrier posts have two possible “positions”:

  1. Up – preventing traffic.
  2. Down (at ground level) – to allow traffic pass.

What is the application area of bollards?

Bollards are meant to be used:

  • In embassies, residences of embassies, government agencies, military units and prisons, where the threat of terrorism is present.
  • In banks, hotels, airports, harbours – to protect pedestrian or VIP parking areas.
  • In municipalities – old city areas, to protect sightseeing objects, pedestrian zones and other sensitive regions
  • In car sales centres – for parking regulation and car theft anticipation purposes.
