Electro-mechanic drive is a rational and sustainable choice for light-weight private house winged gates. The FAAC automated system 412 consists of two electro-mechanic drives and work well with winged gates, where the maximum width of both gate wing is 1.8 m.
Electro-mechanic drives use worm gearing to transfer the movement to gates. The operation of drives is controlled by an electronic 410 MPS control device, which is fitted into a closed, splash-resistant (IP 55) casing to protect it from weather conditions.

Anti-breaking devices is also a part of the standard 412 automated system, limiting the torque, transmitted to the gates. Drives will lock the system mechanically in any position if the engine is not working; however, limiters are required for closed position. Reliability and safety of the automatic system depend on the condition of the gate construction.

Electronic 450 MPS control system allows one side of the gate to be opened for admittance of maintenance staff or visitors. Integrated emergency release system provides for manual opening and closing of the gate during a power failure. The rain protection of the lock must be first removed, using a special key, included in standard kit, to open the locking device.
